My Acer 2414 laptop has been recently having problems reconising that there is a cd disk in the driveit know somting is in there it jus cant read it. i can here it spining. it will play all dvds and all burnt cds but i tried to load fm2007 and other software and nothing. i have rebooted, system restored. i have tried looking for the phillips sdvd8441 drivers but could'nt find any. i have even cleaned the lens. Any ideas?
replace the Laptop disk drive. sounds like it could be bad, or the disk you are tryin to get it to read is bad but im opting more towards the first idea/solution. replace the drive
