Phillips dvp 5982 - lock function

    We accidentally locked the DVD player and now it won't let us in without a password. Unfortunately, the wife lost the user manual. Any advice would be helpful.

    contact philips support they respond rather quickly but once something has a password it's hard to undo thats the whole point of a password.
