Hi i recently aqquired a shell of a laptop (Phillips Freevents F12DT, i believe its an X51??)

I need to buy a hard drive to install in it, question is which type of hard drive do i buy, is it a sata?? Or the other one??

I've searched this forum and others high and low and it appears to be a not very widely known laptop, Phillips themselves deny even selling it, after a bit of research i found it is actually a product of a German company called Twinhead, and has been rebadged for the UK market and a chain of stores in particular.

Any help on this, or on rebuilding the laptop itself would be appreciated.

Best advice I can give you is to take it apart carefully and make sure you remember where all the screws go. The HDD inside will be obvious if it's IDE or SATA, as SATA uses a small data connection, whereas IDE has a huge number of pins on it.
