My parents are buying me a phone and asked me what type of phone I should get and I was wondering what you'd have if you could have any phone in the world??? Be reasonable and it has to be compatible with American Cellular Networks...Thanks~

...it was obvious you don't actually want recommendations for a phone purchase...

If you want a world phone, you will have to look into GSM service providers : tmobile, cingular to name the big ones.

If you want a phone that cannot be used outside of the USA, then Spring, nextel, and verizon are good companies.

What is your budgetlike? What sort of features do you want?

Thanks for your reply. I didn't think anyone would... :(
I ended up getting a VX8600 with Verizon and 3 Moto RAZRs on Black Friday. Basically I got the 3 RAZRs free. :) I'm just looking for a good Micro SD chip for my VX8600. Do you have any recommendations for them or have used them??? Is VCast worth getting??? Do you know ways of getting ring tones legally but costlessly???
