phone lock code

    i bought a new phone off ebay and cannot get into the mobile it keeps coming up with a phone lock code which is a 4 digit number ive tried 0000 but dosent work, can anyone help me has i dont want to go to the shop the phone didnt cost me much and i have a broken leg , please help me
