    Hi

I don't know if I've posted in the correct place but is there any tutorials on what is the best practise on how to create a photo slideshow with sound that can be played on a dvd player?

My sis want's to try it for before a friends wedding of various pics of their time together.

    Thanks in advance
    Gogz

I don't know about tutorials, however, "Google" is a good start. If you are looking for a program to make a slide show, add music and burn it to a DVD , an excellent program is "ProShow Gold" which can be found here http://www.photodex.com/

I have been using Nero 6 for my slide shows and they come out nicely. Toughest part is to make audio length match video length, but there are a few tricks I'm learning on how to make that easier too. I am using a 2 megapixel Canon and get very satisfying results.

I used DVD Photo Slideshow produced by Anvsoft. It is quite easy to use and I have made several great slideshows DVD and share them with my friends on TV. Have a try!

I have used ProShowGold in the past to create a slide show of my little gir growing up from birth to year 3 and it works a treat. You don't really need a guide or a tutorial as such. I found that as soon as you start to put a slide show together, it sort of all makes sense.

    Good luck

I've been using DVDpixplay and produced some good results.

Only thing missing is an option to put more than 1 slide show per disk with some sort of menu on it.

Try NERO, you can put up to 100 pictures per slide show, each with it's own menu, and fit as many shows/menus as will fit on a DVD.
