photoshop cs3 how to clear the background of the picture.

    hi dudes,

    i just like to know how to take of the background of the picture in photoshop cs3. any help will be highly appreciated. thanks

    please provide help in full details as i am very new to it.

    Not really sure what you mean, but if you're just trying to clear the image use the selector tool, select the entire canvas, and go to the top menu and click "Edit" and then go down to "Clear"

    if you want to clear background you must use pen tool. create path, then click on it in paths menu with Ctrl (or Command if you under MacOS on Apple) push Ctrl+Shift+I to inverse selection, then push Del to clear unneeded parts of picture. You may want to add some smoothness on the edge of your object. Then just select object and press Ctrl+Alt+D to bring up the feather menu. Assign few pixels to create feather. Easy, man!
