photoshop elements 4.0 "program error"

    I was trying to make some simple corrections to a jpg from a file of film pictures that I took and nothing will save because of a PS program error message that gives me no more info other than it won't save b/c of a "program error" Any help?

    some remedies would be to reboot your computer and try again....... if this doesn't help then try uninstalling your program and then re install after doing a full computer clean up. Otherwise upgrade to Photoshop elements 6.0 or Photoshop CS3 Extended (great program and the only one I use... much better than elements).
