Hey cincyrob PI stands for parity inner errors - guideline is they shouldn't exceed 280. Here's a great article on the scans: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=80545
PI = Parity Inner Here are a couple of thread that will explain this better than I can: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PI_error http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=80545 EDIT: LOL, I should have known you were lurking in the Nero forum Binkie.
thanks binkie7 loco..... i need to learn these things if im getting this new burn that can actually do these test..lol
I've been doing alot of scanning as of late, but the ultimate test for me is whether or not it will play in my standalone's...the fun is seeing just how well you do it.
i gave a disc to my buddy to scan and it came out 94. 16x+r verb burnt at 12x best i got so far off my crappy hp740b. waiting for newegg to get some benq dw1650's back in stock to order me one
Don't keep your fingers crossed for the 1650, rumor has it once they are gone they are gone... http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=173835
yea that and the price on newegg. 27 bucks for the 1650 and i think 39 for the 1655.... guess if i cant get the 1650 gotta get the 1655 before they also are gone.
