Picture freezing on Starview 3 Superbox

Hi,

I'm having trouble with a *view Superbox. Last weekend the picture started freezing, pixilating and the box would periodically reboot. I've tried re-flashing with different versions but nothing seems to fix the problem.

Its not a connection problem as I have put back my old NTHell box and it works fine.

I've read about the possibility of it maybe a faulty capacitor (c21) but I want to be sure. I'm not getting the problem with the digital readout other people have reported.

Bit early for a Super with cap problems. What firmware revisions have you tried?

Just took the box apart, looks like its cap 21 leaking. What is the best cap to replace it with ?

Should I just do like for like ?

 

Why replace it as the Super must still be under warranty. Send it back to the seller for a replacement.

 

I think it might be quicker just to replace the cap.
