I am burning DVD-9 dvds to one dvd disc using a Pioneer 105, smart ripper, dvd2one and recordnow max, the quality of the copy is great apart from picture glitches( like little skips) every 5-10 minutes. Any help please.

Have you tested these dvd's on different players or just your PC dvd drive?

Have just tested on 2 dvd players, and its less glitchy on them instead its a blocky single line distortion that lasts a second.

I would look at some things like, are you running other things while burning that might slow the machine or disk access down? Does the movie play fine from your HD? I'm not familiar with your burning software but does the buffer flow smoothly to the disk or is the burn pausing for long periods while it reads from disc? During the burning is the read write pattern even or does it seem to get a little erratic from time to time? Is DMA enabled for both HD and DVD burner? What speed are you burning at? What Media are you using?

Sorry if it sounds like a lot, that's why I don't answer a lot of posts cause I think of at least a half a dozen things that could cause a problem with no gaurantee it's the right direction.
