I have no problem using the latest version of Nero to download and burn a DVD of the show. My problem is the clarity of the downloaded picture is not the same the TV Program. I have a SyncMaster 910T monitor setting is 1152x864, the DPI setting is 96 and the monitor is set at 75 hertz. Should these settings be changed when downloading from the TV. Any help would be appreciated.
Actually, first you have to find out what quality of the rip is, bad quality is even more apparent at high resolution, then you need to set your resolution down to 600x800 to get closer to TV, I think US TV is like 700x480 or something like that. If you blow the image up to twice its resolution it is sure going to look like worse quality. Then if you are burning this to DVD, you need to keep in mind that converting it from something like divx or avi you are going to have to select a quality with nerovision express, and if you choose less that the original it is going to be worse.
