Hi, I have an xivd file...and I have an xivd codec...but for some reason when I play it back on computer..it has visual problems. I mean...some parts have perfect dvd picture quality..but others..well, it's like when there is movement...it shadows and gets a sqiggly..lolol..it's hard for me to explain. But what I was wondering is how to get rid of this problem as it's a shame to get rid of the file. Cirsinn
I just watched it again..and the file starts out green...and it's like it's front of the real picture. Then when the file starts to play...the green gets mixed up with the file and it's alot of shadows and blurry images. Cirsinn
Here is the codecs and softwar I have installed: Nimo50 Build 9 Beta Div Pro Codec XIVD codec GS spot Virtual DUB BE Sweet DIv Fix 4 Divx Player 2.0
like i suspected, nimo codec pack is on your list, the proiblem with installing too many codecs is that they conflict each nother causing problems like the one u have!
AVIcodec will do the same for as Gspot and I find it alot easier to use to find the proper codec to support the AVI file. Simply load the AVI into AVIcodec and at the bottom of the window you will see a line that say Video. It gives you the specs for the video part of the file and at the end it will tell you whether you have the codec to support the AVI by saying supported. If it says unsupported just simply click on the web button out to the right of the Video info and it will take you directly to the web site to download the codec needed to support the file. Of couse do this after uninstalling the Nemo codec pack as suggested by Dela.
Hi, I have the GS spot and I already had the Divx MPEG 4 video codec installed a while back...so I got rid of nemo and it's working fine now. I can see the file just fine. Thanks so much guys for all your help. I'm amazed at how much I"ve learned and how much I still need to learn. I love doing this as a hobby..nothing more. It's a challenge just knowing I can do it. Thanks, Cirsinn
