Hi, Has anyone here had experience with Pinnacle studio? i have captured a video from VHS using this software, it looks easy to use (which i like) and like it will do a decent job. The video captured with no problem, BUT, even though i have line-in selected as the input in both Pinnacle and my sound mixer, no audio is captured to the video. The option is selected in Pinnacle to capture audio but it doesnt.

The initial capture to AVI has no sound and then the rendered, finished article still no sound.

Any ideas guys? I am fairly new to video capturing, well, just to lazy to have tried before. Now i have tried i have ran into this problem and it is annoying.

    Any help appreciated as always.

    cheers.

Have you gone into your Windows sound setting and selected "Line In" as your Windows Recording device and you also have to choose the recording volume there...You do this By Right clicking the Volume Icon in your TaskBar and go to "Open Volume Control" to "Options" to "Properties" then click the "Recording" Box and then Click the "Line In" box on the Bottom and then click "OK" and then adjust the Volume of the Line in Port and make sure that You click the "Select" Box and that should do it....Well I hope this helps ....Cheers
