i'm trying to turn some old vhs home videos into dvds. the problem is when i try and capture the video to the hd the preview on instant dvd record doesn't show anything. it's just black. i plugged the vcr into the tv to make sure it works and it does. i thought maybe i might have some setting messed up or maybe this dazzle thing doesn't work good with vista? any suggestions would be great.
I have the same setup with dazzle, using xp I had no probs.I do believe there is a settings button to preview while it is recording but I could of forgotten whether there is or not?. I also tried using s-video instead of yellow rca jacks or you could try using both or 1 at a time for the video
