this post was up awhile ago and I was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution or know enough about video editing and conversions to help with this problem: Ive been using Pinnacle Studio Plus to Edit Videos. But now I filmed a video with my Digital Camera and when I try to edit it with Pinnacle Studio Plus(9.4)it says ''Pinnacle Studio Plus is not enabled for PAL''. Im wondering if there is a way to convert my video file to another video file that will work with Pinnacle Studio. Ive searched ''PAL to NTSC'' on this forum but only came up with ways to put it on a DVD and thats not what I want. IF there is no way to convert my video into a version that will work with Pinnacle Studio, is there another program thats as good/better than Pinnacle Studio Plus to edit my videos. I have the exact same problem and really need some help! !!! thanks alot guys
I use to use pinnacle, but it crashed everytime when I try to edit a large video. If you are editing mpeg2 video, just use videoredo plus. It's frame accurate and it's quick. After editing a 2 hour video, it takes 5 minutes to save the output (compared to 2 hours that it would take pinnacle). The program is rock-solid and crashes on it have been rare. The program works with ntsc or pal format. http://www.videoredo.com/en/ProductPlus.htm
