Hi all I have recently purchased the Pinnacle Systems PCTV USB2 I have connected via the S-Video socket and can get a pretty good quality picture However i cannot get any sound I am not sure if i am missing a cable any idea's would be greatly appreciated I have a load of VHS to convert before Christmas My VHS has a Scart and aerial output Shaun
Well the S-Video Cable only caries a Video signal and no audio signal so you still have to connect the Audio Output from your Video source to either the Capture devices audio Input (If it has one) or to the "Line in" port on your sound card...You might need some sort of Adapter to connect the audio to your PC..... Hi there I was thinking it was something like that Products probably should be shipped with more documentation on this area, then again the people who by it probably should know more Just after buying an audio cable Will try it tonite or tomorrow hopefully Regards, Shaun
