need help please. Using Pinnacle DC10, Studio 8 and nero (latest) I cannot get my burnt cd to work at all - no matter what viewer I try. Windows (xp) will not even recognise the CD - tells me it is unsupported.
The only way I know there is info on the cd is by using a program called cdr diagnostics. And that cant access the files (dat)
What can I do to get the above programs to all work together and give me a vcd that works. pleeeese

Have you tried using Studio 8's CD burn facility?

Worked fine for me -- better quality than Nero, too.

Thanks Idle, and yes I use studio 8 and that is where I fall into a hole it seems. I make my movie, it renders and burns to my cd but when I go to view it in XP I get a message saying that windows does not support or need to know what program wrote it.
I have tried right clicking on the drive to see the properties of the cd but I get a message telling me that there is no CD in the drive. I am thinking that maybe my burner is not compatible with Pinnacle or am I missing some sort of file.
    Any ideas????

You probably need one of the specialised DVD reader programs such as PowerDVD (came bundled with my LiteOn DVD-ROM)

    already tried that.
as I said my pc just will not recognize the cd. I am starting to think that there is a problem with Pinnacle and the way it decodes, encodes for VCD writing.
Pinnacle support is useless, I have sent 3 messages to them over the past month with nil response.....too hard for them also.
    Any other thoughts?
