    Hi newbie here,
Read the rulez on posting, searched for my issue for a few hours - so long in fact I actually at one point forgot what my problem was!!!...
any light shed would be great.....
I can get working xbox backups when I burn iso files using nero 5 or 6 on my new Pion106 drive, although only if I use DVD+RW media. I know my xbox dvd-drive reads DVD-R media because I have tested numerous other titles written by my friend.
strange I know but true. Incidently the dvd-r media used was datasafe silver gen4 ritek dye. :)

If you can help feel free to reply , your advice will be greatly welcomed - If you cant help. well erm hmmmm erm then also feel free to reply.....

I'm not making iso's as of yet. ( but I do own the titles of which iso's I am trying to burn naturally :)... I burn all the media at 1x seems most reliable, thanx for the advice will try memorex DVD+R next.
"could it be the region needs patching from ntsc to pal" I've heard the RW discs seem to pass the region/media check for some strange reason but the -R media doesn't without being patched. (maybe this explains why RW discs work and -R dont) (just a guess - not tested yet)
