I have a 1to7 wytron dup with pioneer 107 drives and
lately some of the drives have started to act up.
The green light on the front stays on after loading
and then won't start.I have tried the same drives in
the pc and they seem fine.Is there any parts that can
be replaced or serviced to solve this problem.

    Thanks

    Dave

If they work fine in a PC then the problem seems to be in the duplicator not the burner drive. There's not much in a burner the average person can replace or fix. Maybe cleaning the laser lens but thats about it. Even the parts are hard to find if you don't know where to look.

I think there is a speed check done by the Duplicator
when you put in a blank dvd.If the drive can't reach
a certain speed on test it is not used. This is only
affecting drives that are a few months old,so that is
why I thought there is some part I could change/service like the drive belt or motor.

Buy a Acard duplicator instead! Thats my solution

Agree, Acard is much more mature and stable.
the 1-7 and 1-1 I had never give me trouble despite constant update of the different writers
