    Hi

I have 2 Pioneer dvd drives installed, dvr108 - Slave and dvr110 master. Both the drives have correct firmware and did burn at correct speeds previously and took aorund 6-7 mins on to burn a movie(12x & 16x on Verbatim).

After re-installing Windows, it now takes 25 mins to burn a movie onto a 16x Verbatim disc and burns at 2x. I checked the jumpers on both drives and they are set as master & slave, checked BIOS and both drives are enabled i.e. set to auto. Another thing, while it's burning, the light on dvd drive keeps flashing, before the light was always on whilst burning a disc.

Does anyone know why it's doing this and how it can be fixed.

    Thanks.

Did you check your DMA 'cause it appears your DMA is "off."
Uninstall your primary and secondary IDE controllers and then reinstall to reset your DMA
