While browsing around this forum (and finding out how to burn a 360 game properly) it seems that pioneer 111D or Pioneer 115D are the best Drives to have to burn a 360 game.

However i already have a HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GSA H60L Dual Layer DVD Re-writer but the games i burn arent working (tried different discs, speeds, programs, isos, bitsetting etc and nothing seems to make it work).

So im thinking about getting a pioneer 115D Drive, as apparently they burn 360 games perfectly, so was woundering - is the internal or external better (i know the internal is cheaper) but was thinking about buying an external one so i culd use it on different pcs.

So which is better external or internal and has anyone had any problems with either?

Internal for sure. USB interface will never have the same capabilities as IDE(internal). Internal for sure.

If you have a desktop and a laptop then go for Internal, but if you only have a laptop then your ONLY option is external. By external I mean via USB. You can buy an internal drive put it in a external enclosure, or just buy a retail external drive.
