Hi guys, I'm having problems with my pioneer drive.

Everytime it is in use i.e. burning or playing DVD's, one of the CPU's becomes maxed out.

During DVD movie playback one of the CPU's jumps to 100% for about 5 seconds then drops back to about 40% for another 5 seconds and then back to 100% for 5 seconds... and so on... This renders DVD movies unwatchable.

While burning a disc, the drives buffer fluctuates between 0 and 100% rapidly instead of remaining constant.

I've never had problems playing DVD's or burning before.

Sorted. DMA mode had been deactivated for some reason.
