Pioneer DVR-106 going back

    Is it possible to go back to Pioneer's 1.06 or 1.07 firmware after flashing a drive with the RPC1 1.07 firmware?

    I don't know the answer to your question, but I was wondering if it was possible, where would your get the original firmware(settings) for the pioneer DVR-106D.

    I just bought one of these off ebay today for 125 with nero6. what would be the advantage of upgrading the firmware and should this be something i consider when it arrives? thanks
