Pioneer Region ini message

    I've had a Pioneer DVD 636D for 2 years and have regularly been changed region on it. Suddenly the whole thing has frozen with the message Region ini on the front. On the TV screen it is asking me to pick a region - not from an Pioneer menu I think. But the remote won't respond. Anybody know what to do?

    I also got this problem a few days back with my DVD player XV-DV33. Tried everything possible but nothing works :-((

    I sent mine off for repair to a place in Birmingham. They said max £50, so I'll have to wait and see!
