I'm wondering if any of you are familiar with this receiver... I bought it more or less so I could get hdmi audio with my ps3 and 360, but I'm having issues. The receiver has two hdmi inputs and one output. So the game systems are hooked up to the receiver and then the receiver is hooked up via hdmi to the tv... I'll usually get audio from one of the hdmi sources, but when I switch to the other one, nothing. I've made sure that the receiver carries audio via hdmi, but I can't make much sense of why I'm not getting sound.

I'm not muted, and the speakers are configured properly. It really seems like the receiver is not finding the source, although everything indicates it is...(with the exception of absolute silence, that is...)

    Any suggestions?

With the other digital audio connections (coax and optical), you have to assign the inputs on the receiver, to whatever you're connecting. Do you have to do that with HDMI too? My receiver doesn't have HDMI, so I haven't run into that, personally.

Yes, you do have to do that with receiver -- and to my knowledge I did this correctly. Inputs one and two are "DVD" and "DVR" respectively, by assigning the ports you pick from a list of presets such as dvd, tv etc.
