okay so what is this chip i am reading about in the bb dvds? thats pretty cool that they can do that but is it really true? im just wondering how they could possibly do that, itd be hard but its a good way to catch piraters.
rhino193, Now I want you to think about this. Keep thinking about it some more and more..... Where ever did you read this ( National Inquirer)? It is a joke there is no chip.
I read it on this website and i was just wondering if this is a true statement or not, it was said by someone in a different forum, is it true though? he also said that when you burn the disk it sends over the ionterent your ip address and eveyrhting to the FBI? kinda funny but does anyone know this is true?
rhino193 It is a joke and it is not true. If you do a search you will probably get at least 20+ people that have started a thread just like this. If you think it could be true then disconnect your computer from the internet and then do the movie. LOL
rhino193, like Car.Mike said its a joke. It started in one thread and then others blew it way out of proportion. The problem was the ones that kept doing it never stated it was a joke and were misleading some of the newbies. Believe us it is a JOKE. Jerry
Just when I thought it was safe to go back to blockbuster... No there's no chip, if they COULD put something like that then they better figure out a way for my cell not to keep losing it's signal. Like they've all said it was a joke. Besides BB sells old dvd's and games, so that would mean there would need to be a chip removal/de-activator tool, and I haven't seen any on E-bay yet.
@rhino193 - - if you read it on afterdawn you would have seen all the other replies saying that this is a bad joke. am afraid all it keeps catching is whoppers. @OU812Ono - lmao, looks like you got something there to catch the whoppers.
