I have debating for a few weeks now (and also saving up) for either a dual core 3800 or a 4200 939 or AM2, anyways I decided to go with a 4200 AM2, and a ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard AM2. Well its almost here and I was so EXCITED till I did not think of the type of F**kING RAM it will support.....

My spending lilmit was $400 and my total bill was $398.22

MAN. I am so pissed right now I can't think, now I have to wait like another F**kING month to save up on ram......So now my shit is going to sit there looking at me looking at it pissed.

VENTING and getting VERY VERY DIZZY!!!

My philosophy is to "measure once and cut twice".

That's why you should always consult an IT pro before building your own system...
Saves you from this kind of irritation...

I can't imagine that, you always seemed like a knowledgeable lad to me ;-)
Anyway, all jokes aside, i always ask at least 2 of my colleague's to look at my ideas for building a new comp just to make sure i didn't overlook compatibility issues and such...
Because like you, i've been known to forget about cheking for Ram compatibility, or getting ATA harddrives for a motherboard that only had IDE, etc. etc. *the list is too embarrasing and waaaay too long*
