i got a samsung lcd http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/...evision&subtype=lcdtv&model_cd=LA40R81BDX/XSA and when im watching family guy, simpsons ect, the outline of a picture, say the house, some of the black lines blur white. Not all of it, just some but it gets really annoying im still under warranty so i needa no if its faulty. Also happens playing games.

and one more thing when people are walking around, the outline or the person goes fuzzy but when he stops walking it back to normal.

if anyone knows what these problems are called please tell me so i can give samsung a ring and return my tv. sorry if im not making much sence.

    Thanks.

It could be the "triple ball effect" which several samsung models have been prone to but I haven't heard of the LA40R81BDX having it. Make sure you have the lates firmware downloaded and installed.

I believe it could also be something called "motion blur".

It is reduced on 100/120 herz lcd tvs but still there. I've been told that lcd tvs will have to get to 150/180 herz or higher for motion blur to be minimized.

You get it from Samsung, but apparently there is none available.

Follow the link you supplied, click on the download area. That should take you to any firmware updates available.
