Is there a piece of software that will tell me what was used to encode an avi file? Or the settings of it? xvid version etc I have a file which plays fine on my computer, but on my philips 3380 dvd/divx player went all pixelated and slow when the next camera angle started(pretty much constantly!). I've not seen this before. The player plays packed bitstream xvids ok as far as i know- (I had a skyworth divx player that had that problem with the chipset- so its a completely different kind of choppyness.) I''d like to know so that i can check other avis so that i know if i'm going to have the same problem. Also- I'm not familiar with encoding- so excuse my complete ignorance. Thanks
