I know that large screen LCD TVs can be used as computer monitors which could be pretty neat in 5 years when the current gen of TVs are obsolete. I was wondering if Plasma TVs generally have a PC input also. If does Plasma render a better picture quality than LCD? or is it the as expected; that plasma better for film, lcd better for games?

I have been curious about the same. I had the sony sxrd and throught scideo it looked fuzzy but through dvi it looked swell. so theres some food for thought.

the Panasonic PX60 42" plasma doesn't have a PC input so I guess it varies. Apparently you need a videocard for your PC.

The PC input might tip the balance for me in terms of Plasma vs LCD. Also LCD tends to have higher resolutions.

actually I was hoping for a tv with great DVD playback (which I thought would be a plasma, but everybody recommends LCD.) I was worried watching TV on an LCD would be too much like staring at a computer screen.
