Plasma vs DLP

    Any thoughts on which way to go. I am in a medium light room and the TV will be in a bookcase, so it does nto have to be hung on the wall. Also, I am looking at 50 inch models .. any thoughts are greatly appreciated

    Also if you have any thoughts on brnad in the 50 inches that woudl be huuge help.. thanks agian .. and best wishes for a happy healthy new year

    Plasma is awsome but would be overkill since you don't want to put it on a wall and you have controll over the lighting in your room. A flat panel while sexxy wouldn't make since in this enviroment. With proper calibration the picture would be as good or better at optimum viewing distance. For a 50 inch optimum viewing is done at 10ft - 12ft.
