i just got done playing shadow of rome.and i finished playing mefal gear snake eater about two months ago.and i have to say they are probably the 2 best games ive played on the ps2.im almost done with gta san andreas(i play it in between games).its a good game also. im thinkin there are threads that asked the same question but its a periodical question.like hows the weather.the weather always changes and there are always new games to play.besides i havent seen any threads like that recently. anyway, mention any game from any system.even if i dont have that system i still like to know about how the games are.
I started playing juiced the other day and i have to say it's far far better than i thought it would be, have to say am enjoying it a great deal. MG3 is a game i imported because it wasn't going to be out in the UK for like another 3 months plus games from the US always have better covers , have to say i miss the whole high tech feel to it but it's still a great game. Has any1 played Boiling Point: Road to Hell?
p4_tt I agree with ya, I picked up Juiced the other day and didn't really expect it to be as good as NFS Underground 2 but it really surprised me. Sui if you're looking for a great racing-genre game I strongly suggest it, racing for pinks is the best part of the game in my opinion.
im not big on racing games but im trying to get something going on GT4.since i backed it up on dvd5 i have a renewed interest in it.i also have midnight club dub 3 but i dont like all the night time driving and weaving in and out of streets.i crash alot on that game.i also have played flatout,a new racing game.it is real easy to drive on that game but its not the most technical game.i borrowed it so i didnt play that much of the game. but whats the deal on juice?what makes it different or better than other racing games. boiling point:road to hell?sounds good, whats it about and for what system? and halo is a first person shooter, right?im slowly getting into first person shooters.i played wolfenstein 3d a long long time ago and havent gotten into shooters that much since.i played medal of honor not too long ago and liked it alot.and star wars battlefront is pretty fun too.but i dont have access to a xbox so i havent been able to try out the halo series.
no offense, but blasteroids is a ghost town.ive been there and NOBODY is hitting that site up.maybe they need better advertising or something?but you cant get any response from people on that site.
Nothing makes it different but it's just one of them games you either love or hate and to be honest i really did think i would hate it but nope i enjoy it rather so boiling point:road to hell is a game I've seen a few times on the net (gamespot) it's on the PC, I've yet to play, i was hoping s1 here might have.
You guys have to agree with me, halo is very overrated, sure its a good game and all, but very very overrated. second Call Of Duty and Call of Duty :uo is what i play alot, and i just finished up brothers in arms, road to hill 30, one of the hardest games ive ever played, but worth it all in the end. and i beat it all before my time was up since i rented it.
my computer isnt suped up to play the high end games.so i dont play too many pc games.i have played age of empires which is an addictive game to play.those kind of strategy games are fun despite the lack of individual action.i usually play console emulators on my pc.i have n64,snes,gba,gensis/master system, and psx.i like playing the n64 and gba emuls, though i havent played them for a while.im not an online gamer either(never found a game worth playing online)though magic the gathering might be fun online.but i think you have to pay to play magic online.
It really depends on the person buying or playing the game to whether or not you think the game is overrated but personally I believe Halo deserves each and every drop of the hype it has received. Juiced isn't necessarily better than all other racing games and isn't nearly as technical as Gran Turismo 4 but still just as much fun, I have spent hours just customizing the different rides in the game. A couple of the people you race against will get on your nerves from time to time but revenge is sweet
By the way Sui i'm glad someone else mentioned the console emulators..I love em. There for a while I was collecting as many as I could, ahh reliving the old days
use to play emuls alot until i started backing up my ps2 games.now i dont have to worry about wasting money on games that get damaged or "misplaced"("i didnt take it"..."its gotta be here somewhere").and i get people willing to lend me their games if i back them up for them(originals of course).so i get alot of oppurtunities to play more games. right now ive got 3 games that im working on:gta sa,gt4, and ncaa 06.im 52% complete on gta, just starting again on gt4,and in my second season going for the national championship on ncaa 06.ive also been playing the hulk.mainly to help my little nephew get to the next level.he plays a level until he gets bored then he gives the controller to me to past the level.its an alright game but more suited for kids.
GT4 will take you a while my friend lol. What kind of mod do you have for your PS2? I'm not into the game backup thing but am thinking of learning a bit more about it.
I agree the most overrated game every to be made, and it about the only game that xbox user still go on about, i had both Halos when i had my XB and i liked them for a while but there not that good in [bold]my opinion,[/bold]it's not that am anti xbox it's just what i think.
i use swap magic discs.you could learn more about ps2 backing up from the ps2 forums on this site. gt4 is a game you would play even after you beat it.so im not too concern about beating the whole simulation mode.i like getting a bunch of different cars and testing them out.see which ones handle the best, are the most upgradeable, and look nice.then sell some cars off and mod the cars ive kept.after that i might try to beat the game.at times, driving can get difficult and im not high on racing games to begin with.so i may lose interest in it again.gran turismo is the only racing game i continue to play.midnight club wasnt what i thought it would be but is a great bargaining chip to get people to lend me some of their games.
Haven't tried the midnight club 3 but another game that i've found a renewed interest in is Burnout 3. I just can't stop slamming opponents over the guardrails at high speeds Great fun there.
