Having trouble with my 360. I have updated the dash, and have a few games which i have patched from either waves 5/6 to wave 3. I put the disc into the Xbox it says Play DVD, and then load a white sceen with the xbox 360 logo. Nothing else happens. Anyone have any ideas why?
Not quite sure! As i didn't flash it. I know it could play everything upto wave 3, so im guessing 1.4? As for the drive make, not too sure either! I know i patched GTA: Lib city stories, from wave 4 to 3 and it worked. I then recently patched Splinte cell, using the same method so it was patched to wave 3, burnt okay, just keeps giving me the 'Play DVD' and the White screen with the xbox 360 logo on..
You need to flash your 360 drive in order to play ANY burned games. If you get the latest firmware for your drive you'll be able to play all waves without having to patch to different waves. There is lots of tuts on here and on the net to determine your drive type and how to flash. If you are uncomfortable flashing the drive on your own there will be many people in your area that'll do it for you.
The drive is flashed, just not sure what firmware! Got Fifa 10 and Colin Mcrae Dirt burned and working fine, also did GTA Lib city stories too, which i had to patch for the waves! Havent done any for a while, and patched Splinter cell and sega racing, the same way i did with GTA, and it says play dvd, white screen and xbox 360 logo. Won't budge from this
If it were me I would just re-flash it with the newest firmware, easier than having to try and waste time and discs trying to patch them to different waves
