My copied Lost Planet 2 disk comes up with the "Play DVD" message when I put it in my 360. I have iXtreme v.1.61, any thoughts as to why this is? Is there a new firmware I'm not seeing?

Run the disc through abgx to see if it was a bad burn, 1.61 reads all waves to date.
If you have a samsung drive then you won't be able to use LT and 1.61 is the latest firmware for that drive.

If you have liteon or benq then LT is your best bet ;)

Ya, its a benq, and i ran it through abgx, it found no errors, but it mentioned a new video wave type. I checked with the original data file and it matched the sig so im assuming its not that. Here' the output, any other ideas cause im stumped?

1.61 needs the boot disc(activate.iso) to runnewer waves. you can update to new LT FW or use the boot disc.

1.61 will read up to wave 5, anything after wave 5 like the game the OP is trying to load will need a boot disc. I know you are just trying to help but is doesn't help anyone to give out bad advice or just plain wrong information.

Wow, I didn't realize this would turn into such a hot issue lol, so I just burn the activate.iso to a DL disk put it in the xbox than swap it after the "place this in an xbox" crap message comes up right? When I burn activat.iso can I leave the layer settings the same as for buring games or do I need to change them?

my 1.61 firmware liteon plays lost planet 2 fine without the activate.iso disc. It also plays red dead redemption, alan wake, and nier just fine. Without the activation disc
