subject is the title. has anyone else comes across this on occasions where they insert a backup disc and if they put a original disc it immediately shows up with the name of the game.
What firmware do you have and what game are you trying to play? Did you set the layer break properly? Did you get your key flashed back to the drive?
ive got 1.51 ixtreme. i havent tried with other games, but ive noticed when playing gta4 on occasions this message is shown under 'my xbox'. other times it shows 'play gta4'. im pretty sure the layer break is set to the 1973790 or whatever. oh and im pretty sure i got a verfication pass on abgx. and the games do work. i thnk i should note that i put the dvd in my pc, n clicked on verify disc on imgburn to c the info on the disc. and it says layer 0 sectors : 1913760 (50.02%), layer 1 sectors : 1912176 (49.98%). is this right?
nah its a lite-on, but i think when u insert the game, the drive just reads the game on the disc for a short moment without the name of the game, then loads the name shortly afterwards, if that makes sense. cos ive tried it with some originals, so thats what i think.
