Hi, I have a 360 with a TS-H943, flashed with LT. My problem is that my games won't play sometimes. One of four things happens when I put a disc in, it'll say "Open Tray", "Mixed Media Disc", "Play Game", or "Play Title". 5/7 games work, sometimes they take a while, sometimes they work right away, those games being Fallout 3, Force Unleashed II, Fable 3, Forza 2, and Red Dead Redemption. Neither Mass Effect 2 or Oblivion will work. I've burned Oblivion twice, so I know it wasn't the single disc, and comments on the torrent lead me to believe that the iso is good. I use Verbatim DVD+R DL, burned at 2.4x using the .dvd file in imgburn. When it comes up as "Play Game", it shows the option to view details, but it's unusable, and when I select the game to play it, it gives me the disc is unreadable, clean it, etc. error. I don't know if it plays original games or not, I don't have any, or have any available to me. I have not tried to reburn ME2. Any help is greatly appreciated. Update (yes, this soon), as soon as I posted the thread, my Oblivion disc worked and showed up as "Play Oblivion". I went to install it, and it gave me the dirty disc error, I tried 3 more times and it worked. I'll update again once I find out if it goes all the way or not. Okay, it got up to 54%, and gave me the dirty disc error, I went back to the dashboard and it was "Play Game" again.
fable 3 will give the disk not clean error or might work, it's not confirmed as it works on some Samsung drives and others don't. It seems that your drive maybe dying, I suggest either re-flashing or buying a new laser.
I'm assuming you didn't actually read what I wrote. Fable III DOES work. Only Oblivion and Mass Effect 2 don't.
agbx came out clean, everything green, just like all of my other games. I'm going to try to clean my lens. Edit: Cleaned my lens using q-tips and glasses cleaner, booted my Xbox up and it read right away, installing it now, I'll update once something happens.
