Hi, i have been able to make a linux mplayer bootable disk if thats what it should be called, what did i do?

Well i simply had mfe-bo20.dol and mfe-fs.bz2 on the disk root and all the media files in the respective folders and to my surprise it worked, MP3s and WMV worked.

I know that NeoGeo and Mame emus are available for the linux users, so i am wondering if it is possible for me to make a similar bootable disk as above and have mame and neogeo stuff in it instead?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thankx

I couldn't begin to tell you how to actually do this since my knowledge is limited, but you could maybe start by looking at Knoppix-Mame. On the PC side, it's a version of Knoppix that can be booted directly from disc (without installing it) and boots directly into MAME.

Perhaps you could get that to boot on the GC from a disc. It would be very cool.
