play on any dvd player???

    I've been using vso divx to dvd for a while now and just recently started using convertxtodvd with the hope that movies would play on any dvd,so far only 3 out of 8 worked,why is this?Any help would be great thanks.

    heh heh heh.. while player manufactures continue to make hardware which only supports + or - dvdr disks your mission is futile.

    Try setting the burns to dvd-rom which should make the numbers work out the other way round.. but 100%?? not a hope.

    BTW.. convertx burning feature is junk.. save the files and use a proper burning program which has disk type options.

    Ok thanks for that,could you tell me what burning programs have that option please,I,ve been using ashampoo.P.S Best anime set I've ever seen.

    convertxtodvd is a great program also ashampoo is another great program, what kinds of blank media are you using? some players can be picky on the brand of media that it will play, plus r dvd disks play in more players thain minus r, also a lot of players don't like dvd+rw, also as far as converting convertxtodvd is one of the best converters on the market, i asume that you make backups, that you let family and friends borrow, and some of the disks don't want to play in thier players right? try tu use good media like fuji,verbatium,tyuden, hope this helps, good luck

    Thanks alot for the info,I've been using dvd-r,these forums are fantastic,priceless,if it could only help me with the blue screen of death then it would be perfect.
