after I have finished burning and go to watch the dvd the movie plays perfect until the end, then it starts skipping. this has happened with the last 3 or 4 movies that I have burned. This has not happend in the past I haven't had this problem. It's usually the last 10 -15 minutes of the movie.

Just a list of things to try.

    1. Make sure you have the latest firmware for your burner.
    2. Try burning at a slower speed.
    3. Try a different brand of media. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are the best.

Just my two cents worth. You can change the footprint of your files in DVDshrink. This eliminates burning files close to the edge of the blank disc...

    In preferences..

Take the advice of Grandpa, but with respect, leave updating firmware till last.
    (Just my opinion grandpa)

    Cheers.
