I've been trying to play some videos that I've had for a while. From the file names, I believe they were encoded with XviD. I'm sure that when I downloaded them orginally, the files played without any problems. However they will not work now. I've downloaded the appropriate codecs, and tried to see what the files were originally encoded by using GSpot and AVIcodec, however they both throw up errors with these particular files. I am at a loss as to why this is happening.
