I've used ConvertXtoDVD to convert and burn 2 MKV files. In the settings I made sure the TV format is set to auto. I notice in the opening credits of both movies, the names of the stars are cut off. This is what I found out: When I play the DVD's on my wide screen, both sides are cut off. I've tried all of the wide screen options on my TV such as 4:3, zoom, horizon, 16:9. When I play them on my normal TV 4:3, they are not cut off. They also play fine on my widescreen monitor. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Hey, thanks for making me look like a complete idiot! LOL. You're right. The setting for the DVD player was set to if you have a 4:3 TV. I set it to Widescreen TV and all is well. Seriously, thanks! It never occurred to me to check the DVD player settings.
