I'm trying to playback video files copied to my hardrive ending with .IFO, .BUP & .VOB using Windows Media 9 AND Real Networks 7. I've already downloaded DIVX and AVIcodec v1.2 build 110 and some other codecs and still nothing. Which codec do I need to play these DVD files on WM 9 and RN7.

Ps I can open the files using Roxio player

Those are DVD video files, you would need a software dvd player, VLC can open them, other than that you need a dvd decoder such as cyberlink powerdvd, and your player has to recognize them as a "supported file". You may be able to download and install a trial version of cyberlink, then see if wm9 can open them.

Thanks, I'll try that, but would I be able to open the file via Windows Media 9 or Rea Network 7. I was able to open the file by downloading Satsuki decoder codec, but it only using Windows Media player classic.
