I recently took a disc I made to a friends house and it would not play. I have authored the disc using nero 5.5. As I us a computer to play my discs with a video out to the tv, I never thought about this. It showed the authored info but would not advance to the movie. His player handles vcd as it read the disc, but no movie. IS this due to the authoring? Are there any players on the market that will handle authoring? I have searched and haven't seen this in the specs for any machine.
yeah, using nero, I created a title page with photo and my humble name on it. when inserted, it show my loveable likeness and text but would not go any further. pushed play button, reinserted it to make sure player detected it, and it did acknowledgeing the vcd, yet would not play movie. took the disc and it showed title page, then played on computer.
