Playing AVI files on XBOX 360

    Hi Everyone,

    I have noticed a lot of people having trouble playing AVI files on the XBOX 360. Basically i have found that the easiest way to do it is to just stick the AVI file on to a pen drive and play it from there. You may need to download the update from XBOX live though. I have spent probably 2 years not knowing this and was pulling my hair out trying to play them from CD, so i think it is worth mentioning.

    However does anyone know whether this is not possible with certain codecs of AVI files and does anyone know the best format?
