Er, hi. Is there a way to play a data dvd containing .avi files, encoded with xvid, on my xbox WITHOUT putting xbmc on it?- I won't have access to a crossover cable for a couple weeks.

.. I do not want to convert the files to dvd either.I'm sick of it.

    Is there a way?

Never tried it, and I don't know if there is an app. for it. You could use Torrents to get an AID ISO, burn that to disk, and then you can use it to install apps. on your Xbox, like Xbox Media Center. No crossover cable required.

Okay, sounds good. So I downloaded AID, now I just add things to it and then burn it to a dvd?
