Playing AVI's on Playstaion 3

    Hi all

    I have a few AVI Files (12) that add up to a total of 4gb, i want to get them onto a DVD and watch them. If i try to encode these to DVD format then they dont fit on one disk.

    Is there a way i can put these on 1 DVD and watch them on my Playstation 3? Does the Playstation 3 accept AVI Files?

    Yes the PS3 will play .avi files that are encoded with Xvid/Divx formats. Not sure about H264 or others. You can either use a flash drive to watch the files from or transfer the files to the HDD of your PS3 or you can burn them to disk as data files using ImgBurn. There is no need to convert to DVD format for playing on your ps3.
