It still won't let me play my back ups. I did install the mod correctly. ANy suggestions as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
Have you flashed your chip w/ a bios yet? If not you will need to do so. If you have and it still wont let you play your backups, it's probably your drive's laser. What drive do you have? If you do not know check here, http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/xboxdrives.htm The drives that usually give people problems are the Thomson and Phillips. Samsung and Hitachi are by far the best drives. Try cleaning the laser first. If that does not work you could try and pot tweak the laser to intensify it's strength. If that doesn't work you could just get a new laser, or a new drive all together.
