Playing backup games after jailbreaking on PS3?

After you have already backed up the game onto your hard drive, does that mean you can play the game without having to plug in the TI84 calculator?

 

Nope , you need to plug in TI84 calculator everytime before you turn on the ps3.

 

does my calculator have to stay on? what if it runs out of battery?

 

I'm using a Droid phone on my ps3. I can unplug it as soon as the system boots correctly or I can leave it plugged in and it will charge.

If by chance you unplug whatever you use, DO NOT plug it back in when ripping a game. It will cause progress to stop and you must cut power to the system. Very risky, but it did not hurt my system luckily.

 

every time you power up the ps3 you have to re do the jailbreak or backup manager which remains on the system the whole time crashes.
once the jailbreak has been run you can unplug anything and continue until the next power cycle.
