Playing CD-R movies on x-box?please help.

    Hello everyone,I'm kinda a rookie at all this burning stuff,I would like to know how i can burn and play cd-r's that have divx and vcd and svcd on my X-Box,I currently use Nero Express for my burning needs,it however does not have svcd enabled for soem reason,and idont know where to find the plug-in of update for free,the X-box is a little over a year old and i do not have the dvd playback thing,is there also a way to get around this,I thank you in advance,bye.

    The only way to get around it is mod the thing, then get xbox media center, it can play divx and xvid's. btw, depending on your dvd drive your xbox came with, it can be real picky with CD-Rs

    Try cd-rw these seem to work pretty good.

    yeah,there are 80 minute cd-rw's out so you should be able to find one that works with your xbox and fit a divx/xvid/svcd on it nicely.
